WWW Wednesday – May the 4th

This meme is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words, you just have to answer the three questions below.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?38447

Currently reading: I have been working through The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood since Sunday for #RYBSAT. The goal of that readathon of course is to read through some books on your bookshelf but if this is the only one I get through this week it will be worth it. I am absolutely loving it so far and kicking myself for not picking it up sooner.

I am still working my way through The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. I’ve taken a break while I focus on #RYBSAT, but I plan to get more read during Bout of Books next week.

I’ve also been listening to The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon. I have gotten through about 70% of it with only 7 hours left. I look forward to finishing it soon.

Recently Finished: I finished The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald on Saturday. It was a great read and as I said in my last post, I can see where Tolkien and Lewis took inspiration.

You can check my April Reading Wrap Up for more of my thoughts on that book. It was quick and fun, but I haven’t finished much else since Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon

Reading Next: #RYBSAT dictates that I work through my bookshelf, so if I finish The Handmaid’s Tale in time I will start I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith. Which I’ve heard great things about, I mean it has a blurb on the cover by J.K. ROWLING! Granted not on the cover here but my cover definitely does!

If I don’t finish The Handmaid’s Tale in time, I will be starting my TBR for Bout of Books. A full TBR will be posted later this week but you can bet that my first read will be reading Lumberjanes Vol 3: A Terrible Plan I am a little bummed that Noelle Stevenson only drew the first part of this volume but I still love the writing so I’m sure it will be wonderful.

Make sure to look at other WWW Wednesday posts and let me know what you’re currently reading!
